Mental Health Awareness

Our Mental Health "Back to Basics" Project!

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. While it was first recognized in 1949, it has never been more pertinent than now to recognize the role mental health plays in our overall well-being and the value in raising awareness and helping those in need of treatment.
The project composes of a seminar to be followed immediately by a workshop on one day.
Seminars would include mental health professionals providing an informative or discussion session with the targeted audience. The informative sessions are intended to be specialized around the needs of students to better focus on that group as their needs differ.
The second segment of the session would include activities from various presenters. These activities are expected to encourage better mental health practices that each can follow. Activities include; Aromatherapy, Yoga Therapy and Henna.
